You will join our Ports and Marine department

As our new Senior Project Manager you will be part of a strong professional environment with lots of different exciting opportunities. The department works closely with the rest of Ramboll on large and small projects in Denmark and around the world, across all stages from planning to detailed design, together with our team of highly committed and specialized engineers.

Our department works with a broad spectrum of port and marine projects, from feasibility studies, MetOcean studies and coastal protection to port planning, design and supervision.

An increasing number of coastal protection projects related to more frequent floods and severe storms in recent years are part of the department's portfolio. Furthermore, the department is involved in projects related to the design and assessment of marine terminals handling green fuels and liquid CO2.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Establish and maintain client relationships
  • Project management on Danish and international projects across Ramboll
  • Contribute to maintaining high quality in our projects
  • Design of port and marine structures
  • Preparation of proposals
  • Be mentor for the department's younger employees

  • Relevant engineering degree
  • Preferably more than 10 years of documented experience in the design of ports and marine facilities.
  • Extensive experience in managing complex interdisciplinary port and marine engineering projects.
  • Your competencies are respected in the market and you have built up a valuable network that enables you to understand client needs and market trends
  • Contribute to competency development in the department
  • Good communication skills in Danish and/or English. Other language skills are a plus
  • Willingness and responsibility to ensure high quality from start to finish
  • Good communication and collaboration skills and good mood despite many balls in the air
